# Dock30, the previous voyage: Our old submarine-themed agency site

The site this one replaced: a submarine-themed dive through our services, kept online because we are still fond of it.

## The brief

Before the site you are on, there was the submarine. We designed and built our previous agency site around a deep-sea theme: custom animations, interactive modules where visitors explored case studies by category, a step-by-step dive plan for our process, and live portfolio screenshots wired to real client projects.

The brief we gave ourselves: a portfolio site that feels like a product itself, communicating engineering quality without having to claim it. It worked. Clients regularly mentioned the site as the reason they reached out, and it kept doing that until we outgrew the theme and built what you are looking at now.

## The hardest part

Being our own client. A portfolio site has to prove quality on sight, and every pixel is a claim about the work. The reward: it sold the agency on its own, and we liked it enough to keep it sailing at old.dock30.com.
